ACE's 101 Training
Understanding PACEs Overview
The Positive & Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs) Training is an overview training aimed at understanding and mitigating the effects of childhood trauma. The training covers the landmark ACE Study, revealing the significant long-term health and social consequences of early adversity. The course also examines protective factors, highlighting strategies to protect against trauma's effects.
Nurtured Heart Approach®
Fundamental Training
Introduction to the Nurtured Heart Approach® and the 3 Stands. Participants will understand why conventional methods of parenting, therapy, and teaching often fail with intense behaviors, despite the best of intentions. Participants will leave with tools to help shift a challenging child to use their intensity in successful ways, even if the child is diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, or exhibits other difficult behavior. Expect to set aside three and four hours for English- and Spanish-speaking audiences, respectively.
Nurtured Heart Approach®
Comprehensive Training
Includes concepts reviewed in the Fundamental Training above, and participants will also leave with a deeper understanding with more experiential exercises and practices. Participants will be able to apply the core methodologies of the Nurtured Heart Approach® to cultivate Inner Wealth® in all children and create a richer social-emotional environment. This training is typically six hours for English-speakers and eight hours for Spanish speakers.

Nurturing Family Strength Program
A two-phase, 5-week program with integrated communities of practice that includes the Comprehensive Nurtured Heart Approach® Training that strengthens the use of learned tools with experiential activities, behavior replacement plans, and Inner Wealth™ online-based coaching with reflection and communities of practice.

Notching-Up Leadership Greatness
Stands as the pinnacle of leadership development within the Nurtured Heart Approach® framework. This advanced training, requiring prior completion of the Comprehensive NHA training, provides seasoned leaders with an immersive and transformative experience. Building on the foundational understanding of NHA's three stands, the Notching-Up training delves deeply into leadership principles, offering strategies to leverage intensity and challenges within teams. Participants learn to apply the core methodologies of NHA to cultivate a culture of greatness within their leadership sphere.
Nurtured Heart Approach®-Based Coaching
Transform Negative Self-Narrative into Inner Wealth™
Nurtured Heart Approach® Advanced Trainer facilitates NHA-aligned self-regulation techniques in online one-on-one meet-up's or in groups. The Trainer coaches and leads participants in Inner Wealth™ Coaching for both self- and peer-development.

Train-the-Trainer Academy
Becoming certified in the Nurtured Heart Approach® is a powerful first step—but becoming a truly impactful and inspiring trainer requires a deeper level of skill, confidence, and presence. The NHA Train-the-Trainer Academy is designed to elevate certified individuals into exceptional facilitators and speakers who can deliver the NHA with clarity, passion, and authenticity.
Participants receive expert guidance in public speaking, group facilitation, and adult learning strategies, while also learning to integrate their personal experiences and cultural lens into the delivery of NHA content—without compromising the fidelity of the approach.
Graduates emerge with a deeper command of their voice and message, equipped to lead NHA trainings that resonate, empower, and transform individuals and organizations such as schools, nonprofits, agencies, and the business community.
